The Creative Vision

The goal was to give the name “Nookka” (a tribal term for “having food”) a visual soul. We wanted to show that while the restaurant is modern, its heartbeat is connected to the ancient, natural joy of sharing a meal.


Our Production Strategy: Step-by-Step
1. Concept Discovery & Research

We sat down with the Nookka team to understand their brand’s DNA. We identified the core hook: the linguistic origin of the word. We proposed a narrative that connects the Tribal Spices of Kerala to the Global Multicuisine menu offered at the restaurant.

2. Scripting & Visual Storyboarding

The Narrative: We wrote a professional script that tells the story of how flavors traveled from the forest to the world.

The Sketch: We created detailed storyboard sketches for every scene to ensure the client and the crew were perfectly aligned on the visual style before the cameras rolled.

3. Art Direction & Property Planning

To make the “Origin” story authentic, we didn’t just use a green screen.

The Hut: Under the guidance of an Art Director, we constructed a traditional tribal hut in the heart of Wayanad.

Prop Styling: Every element—from the cooking vessels to the lighting—was meticulously planned to recreate an ancient, earthy atmosphere.

4. Professional Cinematography & Lighting

We deployed a full professional crew, including:

Lighting Design: To capture the moody, natural warmth of the Wayanad forest.

Camera Kits: High-definition cinema cameras to ensure every frame looked like a movie.

5. The Two-Phase Shoot

Phase A (The Roots): Filmed in the Wayanad forest hut, focusing on the traditional way of preparing food and the raw beauty of spices.

Phase B (The Destination): Filmed at the Nookka Restaurant, showing the modern transformation of those same spices into world-class Chinese, Arabian, and Indian cuisines.


The Result: A Masterpiece Brand Video

The final output wasn’t just an “ad”—it was a Brand Film.

Emotional Impact: It gave the people of Perambra a reason to feel proud of the brand’s local roots.

Market Positioning: It instantly positioned Nookka as a “premium” destination with a deep story, separating it from every other local competitor.
